“‘Natural Shades’ is a non-profit organization (NGO) that aims to encourage communities to adopt small practices such as horticulture, plantation, and gardening to conserve the environment and create new habitats.”
Our Vision
environmental Development
- Habitat Creation: Design and install bird nests, feeders, and safe shelters to support sparrows, squirrels, and other small urban wildlife.
- Urban Greening Initiatives: Promote plantation of native plants, balcony gardening, and small green spaces that directly provide food and shelter for birds and animals.
- Community Participation: Involve residents, schools, and volunteers in hands-on activities like nest building, water bowl placement, and seasonal care for wildlife.
- Rescue & Seasonal Support: Provide support during extreme weather (summer heat, winter cold) through water stations, food distribution, and protective arrangements for small animals.
- Awareness with Action: Conduct simple, practical awareness drives focused on everyday actions people can take to protect and support local biodiversity.
- Clean & Safe Surroundings: Work with communities to reduce harmful waste and maintain cleaner environments that are safe for birds and animals.
- Sustainable Monitoring: Regularly observe and maintain installed nests and habitats to ensure their effectiveness and long-term use.
- Collaborative Efforts: Partner with local groups, schools, and authorities to expand impact and promote wildlife-friendly practices in urban areas
